Chelsea Briggs is the Managing Consultant and Founder at SDG Strategy Consulting Ltd., a boutique consulting firm specializing in sustainable development initiatives and Indigenous economic development. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Development and Law & Society from the University of Calgary, and completed her MBA from the University of Victoria, majoring in Sustainable Innovation. Her passion for sustainable development and her interest in the intersection of business and environmental stewardship drive her work. Chelsea's diverse background and focus on Indigenous economic development position her as a valuable asset in promoting sustainable and culturally sensitive business strategies. With more than 15 years of experience, Chelsea has worked in various fields, including corporate strategy, renewable asset development, power plant operations, commercial development, and supply chain management for Fortune 500 companies. Her consulting expertise has led her to work across diverse industries, including hospitality and tourism, FMCG, construction, and energy.

Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Chelsea grew up on a small acreage in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies in Treaty 7 territory; the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Tsuut’ina, Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation. And we acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory.
